MW3 First Map Pack - Liberation and Piazza

The first Elite MW3 map packs have been dropped on MW3 with the new maps, Liberation and Piazza. Two medium to large maps with a new and original design.

The MW3 map pack is free first for Elite Premium subscribers on Xbox 360 with regular Xbox members getting it later for purchase with Microsoft Points.

But in-order to get the mw3 map packs free without the Elite Premium you will need to acquire free Microsoft points / PSN points. A website, partnered with Amazon allows you to order codes via email or post to get these by referring new members or completing small surveys.

This is all the same site so do not sign multiple accounts.

Now my summary of the the maps.


Liberation

Liberation is set in New York City's central park. The map is set in the Fall and is pretty wide and open. Snipers and Assault Rifles reign supreme with the long lines of sites. The map is split down the middle by 3 bridges and a dry river bed. With many spots to head glitch you want to check every line of site and perhaps stick to the edges of the map. The Hot spots seem to be at the opening of a bunker just under the central bridge on 'A' side of Domination.


Piazza

Piazza is a very urban and Close quarters firefight. The map has tight turns and steep stairs. While the map can suit almost every weapon type I have found that even as a Sniper, I have found better success with an SMG going 40+ with under 10 deaths the majority of the time compared to Sniping where you may go about 28-8 on average. This map has different hotspots depending on the game-type. My best strategy is to simply move around the map in a circular motion. Because of the number of routes available to players the enemy team rarely are found stuck together so it's easy to pick off 2 or 3 at most before running into the next set.

Microsoft have indeed as said at E3 2011, obtained exclusive rights to get the Call of Duty: MW3 map packs early. This may not be a surprise to a lot of you as in 2010 Activision did announce that this would happen for several years.

So, if you're an Xbox player, rather than daunt at the fact that you may need to spend over $100 on MW3 by February 2012 you can simply use our method and get your early mw3 map packs free!

But what if you're a PS3 player? Well you can still get the map packs free! You may have more time to pull in some $'s while you wait for the map packs but at least you won't have to fork out the extortion that so many other oblivious gamers will be doing.

Well as long as you are over the age of 13 and have parental consent if you are under 18, you simply sign up, complete some market research surveys, watch some videos, play games and refer your friends to get cash in a paypal, or other online banking account, or Amazon points to redeem on Amazon.com through the website (so yes your games and other gaming gear DOES come from Amazon and you do get confirmation receipts.)

Mw3 maps vs weapons

With the new Modern Warfare 3 map designs coming in, a lot of players wonder which class of weapons, or single weapon will dominate the game. In the first modern warfare it seemed to be the MP5 for the most part and then moving on to the Snipers. For MW3 maps and the free mw3 map packs which will be available after the game is released via this blog, Sniper rifles and assault rifles look to dominate. Black Ops has given a lot to sniping, however with mw3 bringing back quick scoping it will attract more sniper gameplay than ever before.

Modern Warfare 3 Maps

There has been a lot of rumour speculating on just how many Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 maps there will be. Leaks have revealed that over 20 maps have been made! Although my opinion is that the game, on release, will feature about 14 maps and the other 6 are for a early release MW3 Map Pack.

Speculated Maps for the Multiplayer have been released on Kotaku and list as follows:

Spec Ops maps are also looking to make vast improvements on their initial styles of game-play on Modern Warfare 2. In MW3 we are supposedly seeing 2 core game-types within spec ops with some perhaps being available on future MW3 map packs. 
Like MW2 you will fight through mission-based levels fighting waves of enemies. The new survival mode looks to be the Modern Warfare version of zombies for mw3, in which players battle un-ending waves of enemy.

This is still all speculation but does look like a realistic leak to the game. Modern warfare 3 maps and MW3 map packs look to be the best in the call of duty series yet. In my personal opinion, unless it is a skill based game, unlike MW2, designed for any noob to pick up the controller, Black Ops will still hold top title for competitive gamers. Modern Warfare 3 does look like it will have the popularity vote and will inevitably break new records on it's release.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Annihilation Map Pack

Hey hardcore Call of Duty Fans! Activision Publishing and Treyarch Studios have released the 3rd map pack for the game that has sold over $1 billion US since it's debut in November last year.

The Annihilation map pack, released on June 28th is a great step forward for the game. The release of this Annihilation map pack showcases 5 new multiplayer maps; Hanger 18, Silo, Hazzard, Drive-in and the new Call of Duty: Black Ops zombie map, Shangri-La! The new maps are designed from masses of feedback and it looks like Sniping encouragement has really been put forward. So beware of getting no-scoped in the face more often.
